Day 5 --> Almost break ankle (on playground) and refuse to walk for the rest of the day. Is still limping some on "Day 9."
Day 6--> Catch another cold
Day 7--> High fever starts (104)
Day 8--> High fever still (104), doc. diagnoses strep throat. Evening of "Day 8" symptoms start from cold caught on "Day 6" or so.
Day 9--> My little girl is snotty and wheezy but her throat is feeing better!
*Note. She hasn't been back to school since morning of "Day 7."

Yeah this isn't practical for you at all, but maybe daycare isn't the best for a delicate little Maddie. Daycares and Dorms = germ factories. Could you guys afford a sitter?
